Who do we serve? That is the question every leader asks at Centerpoint. We have simple leadership flow that asks how can we serve from one role to the other.
Centerpoint is led by elders, pastors and ministry leaders. The most exciting thing about our leadership team is the diversity of backgrounds that everyone comes from. God has brought people together from many types of cultures, religious differences, careers, gifts and talents for the purpose of making Jesus known. Our commitment is to serve one another, the community and beyond.
Did you know that God called us to prosper in community with other believers and to love and live better together? Here at Centerpoint Church we do ‘life like a family’ and we believe that a better way to grow our faith in God, deepen our relationship with Jesus and increase our fellowship with one another is through Life Groups.
Love Gives Adoption
Love Gives Adoption began in 2010 with a conversation before church. It was when a couple of the leaders were talking about using their birthdays as opportunities to advocate for others rather than getting a new pair of socks that the idea of supporting an adopting family began. The first year we raised $8,000 and we continue to raise funds each year.
The now year round mission of Love Gives Adoption is to educate, advocate & raise money for adopting families.
We believe at Centerpoint everyone has a unique gift and purpose in our church and we want to help you get plugged in and use that gift. When you step out of your comfort zone and allow God to use your gifts and talents to volunteer and serve, you become a part of something bigger than yourself. If you are interested in serving, you can sign up on your connection card or fill out our online volunteer form.
Children’s worship is divided by age group. Centerpoint wants this to be a great hour in their week! While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience designed just for them. We have children’s ministry for infants through 5th Grade. Join our Facebook Group for weekly updates on curriculum & events.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age." - Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20)
We offer local missions opportunities once a month and foreign mission trips throughout the year.
Overcomers Outreach is an international network of Christ-centered 12 Step support groups which ministers to individuals, their families and loved ones who suffer from the consequences of any addictive behavior. We exist to serve as a bridge between traditional twelve step recovery groups and churches of all denominations. We recover together as we meet to study and grow in God's Word. Overcomers meets Monday, 7pm at Church.
