Missions

Centerpoint Church supports several missions through Love Gives:

 Centerpoint Single Parents
Single parents have unique struggles and challenges but we wouldn’t change it for the world. Centerpoint Single Parents Group is for any single parent, be it by divorce, death, never married, etc. who would like to be part of a light-hearted, judgement free group. We will have family activities, parent nights out and offer love and support to one another.  Emily Johnson is the leader of our single parents.  You can contact her at ejohnson@centerpointchurch.cc.

 Ryan and Chrissy McKinnon
The McKinnons are our missionaries who were just stationed in Fort Lewis, WA. Ryan is a Chaplain in the Army who served Centerpoint leading the elementary kids for a year and a half.  They recently had their fourth child, Elias.

Brad and Jaime Collins
Brad and Jaime are raising support to be full-time missionaries to the U.S. Naval Academy through CRU. In addition to their CRU responsibilities, Brad and Jaime play and sing in the worship band on Sunday mornings.

World Vision
Each week, our Elementary and Preschool children collect an offering to sponsor a child through World Vision.  The girl they are sponsoring, Marilin, is six years old and lives in Colombia with her mother and two brothers.  Her health is described as being “unsatisfactory” and she doesn’t attend school.  At home, she likes to play with dolls and helps by picking up trash.  In her latest letter, she sent this picture:

Poston Family
Steve and Debbie Poston have started 3 churches in Mexico in over 25 years of serving God. In 2011 they begin starting their 4th church in Saltillo, Mexico. On a 2006 missions trip to Mexico, Steve was very influential in encouraging Donnie to follow God’s leading no matter what (even if it meant starting a church from scratch). It is our privilege to support the Poston family as they continue to follow God no matter what.

The Woods Family
Justin and Tera Woods are collegiate ministry directors at the U.S. Naval Academy. Justin leads Bible studies, worship gatherings, and retreats for Naval Academy students.

Cooperative Program
The Cooperative Program is an agreement among churches, state conventions and fellowships to work together in Great Commission ministries. This financial channel of cooperation over 5,000 missionaries are funded all around the world.

Liberty Church Planting Network
The Liberty Church Planting Network has instrumental in starting hundreds of churches all over North America. Each year over 40 new churches are being started through the LCPN.

Iglesia Punto Central
Iglesia Punto Central is the Spanish speaking side of Centerpoint Church. Led by Pastor Ender Zambrano, IPC launched April 2011.
